When growing up as a child, I fondly recall the red scooter I got from Santa. They were very popular when I was a kid, but then disappeared from favor for many years...until just recently when I received a fax from an agent showing an ad for the new wave of scooters with a note asking, "Does the homeowners policy cover this?"

“Riding Mowers . . . Are You Insured?”
When the wording in a new version of an insurance policy is changed there can be a significant impact on the coverage provided. This can happen even if just one word is added, changed, or deleted. As a case in point, this article will look at the coverage provided for a riding lawnmower under a 1991 vs. 2000 edition of the "ISO standard" Homeowners policy.

Does everybody know what time it is? It's time for your clients to start a home improvement project or maybe a new construction project. And who do you want your clients to have on the job? Certainly not Tim "The Toolman" Taylor. Al, maybe, if he leaves Tim back at the Tool Time set. Even if Jill or Heidi did the job, everyone would, at least, be much safer.
